PALAK PANEER

Serves -4

Ingredients:
Ghee -2tbsp
Spinach leaves -6 bundles
Tomato -4(Big sized)
Ginger -half inch one
Garlic -7-8 cloves
Onion -2-3 (big size)
Paneer -250grms
Bay leave -1
Cardamom -3
Cinnamon -1 big
Laung -2
Cream -2tbsp (For garnishing)

Procedure:



  1. First, take the spinach leaves in a pressure cooker and give one siti and open it to cool down.
  2. Grind the tomato and make a puree of that.
  3. Also make a paste of ginger and garlic.
  4. Then,pour 2tbsp of ghee in a pan and let it heat.
  5. To that add the bay leaf,Cardamom,laung,cinnamon, and fry for a sec.
  6. Add the onions(cut to small size) and fry till turns pin.
  7. To that add the ginger-garlic paste and fry for another minute.
  8. Pour the puree to it and salt to taste.Simmer till it thickens.
  9. To that, add the paneer(cut to medium size) and fry for 2-3mins.
  10. At last, remove the pan from heat and serve hot with 2tbsp of cream garnished on top.
Tips:
When you have boiled the spinach,add some ice cubes to it.You can see the spinach is green.
