SAHI PANEER

Serves -4

Ingredients:

Tomato -14(medium sized)
Ginger -one 2" sized
Green chili -5 to 6
Onion -2 to 3(big sized)
Green peas -1cup
Paneer -300gms
Butter -2tbsp
Sahi jeera -1tsp
Salt -To taste
Sugar -2tsp
Cardamom -3
Cinnamon -1"sized one
Yogurt -half cup
Cashew nut paste -1/4th cup
Coriander leaves -For garnishing

Procedure:



  1. At first,take the tomatoes,ginger,4green chilies in a pressure cooker and give one to two sit-ti in high flame.
  2. Take off the mixture and grind to a puree.Strain it in a strainer and keep aside.
  3. Now, cut the onions to small size,green chilies to two halves and keep aside.
  4. Now,heat butter in a pan,add the sahi jeera,onion(cut to small size),remaining green chilies and saute till it turns pink.
  5. Next, add the green peas,and fry for 2-3mins.
  6. Then,add the puree,Salt to taste,Sugar to it.And, fry till it turns thick.(Approx 5-7mins)
  7. To that paste add the cashew nut paste and fry for a minute.
  8. Add the yogurt to it.
  9. After a minute,add paneer and Cardamom and cinnamon powder to it and fry for 2mins.
  10. At last,for garnishing, add cream 2-3tbsp and coriander leaves to it.
  11. serve hot. 


Tips:
If you want, you can add kasuri methi to it.It brings a good texture and great flavor to the recipe.
